Ecosystems, Business Models and Digital Leverage theme focuses on enabling circularity and sustainable value creation in future mining activities by developing holistic ecosystem and business model approaches. The theme examines how circular-by-design and re-mining concepts can be made economically viable, environmentally sound, and socially accepted. 

 Through benchmarking international cases, co-developing value networks for selected sites, analysing stakeholder roles, assessing sustainability impacts, and designing circular business models, the group builds the foundation for integrated, scalable, and industrially relevant solutions.  

The outcomes support decision-making, guide technology development across the project, and help establish new value chains for circular mining.
