How can GTK help you? Did you know that in addition to state-of-the-art geo-dataset and researchers, GTK also has a pilot plant, comprehensive laboratory services and the ability to provide expert services? Would you like to be involved in developing the services offered by GTK to enhance the exploration of battery minerals?<\/h6>\n

GTK produces a lot of research data and uses a variety of research methods that target current research sites in line with GTK’s strategy. The MinMatka project, in addition to the actual scientific work, approaches research work from the perspective of productisation. Currently, research focuses on the characterization of battery minerals, exploration technologies, and exploration concepts that have arisen from them. The idea behind this is always about how research can help with challenges such as climate change and the energy transition and support the business sector. By utilising and conceptualizing the results based on the studied knowledge, more accessible expert services can be built to meet society’s needs.<\/p>\n

In terms of productisation, the following methods are included: drill core point spectral measurement, multivariate data interpretation services, hyperspectral interpretation: expert work, geochemistry tools for fertil-Li-pegmatites ore exploration, geochemistry services supporting ore exploration (moraine geochemistry and surface geochemistry) and petrophysics services.<\/p>\n
