CINTEM<\/strong> advances the digital mill by integrating mineralogy, advanced flotation, machine learning, digital twins, and life\u2011cycle thinking to enable smarter extraction of critical raw materials (CRMs).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A circular\u2011economy\u2011aligned flowsheet\u00a0optimizes\u00a0processes, generates cleaner side streams, and improves early\u2011stage decisions. Experiments, models, sensors, and LCA feed a closed digital feedback loop. Automated mineralogy\u2011based simulation and LCA reveal environmental impacts and test circularity options such as\u00a0tailings\u00a0reprocessing and multi\u2011product flowsheets. Online sensors support predictive control and\u00a0a digital\u00a0twin for smart optimization. Enhanced froth flotation improves recovery of\u00a0coarse\u00a0(>150 \u00b5m) and fine (<35 \u00b5m) CRM\u2011bearing\u00a0sulphides, including from tailings via flash and hybrid flotation. Advanced phosphate separation yields cleaner side streams for new products, underpinned by surface\u2011chemistry insight for more selective, less wasteful silicate flotation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
